Artsfest Film Festival

We had a packed screening of the film at Artsfest this year, (last year TRACKS won best local film...) and we were the last of 4 films in the program. We actually played ON Memorial Day, but there was still quite a crowd.

The first film was a music video, locally made in Harrisburg, and the next film was a wry, funny little mockumentary with Ed Helms (Daily Show) called Zombie-American.

It's great to be anonymous in a crowd when you watch your film. We could hear the people behind us reacting to the film..."Was that honey?" "I don't know, but I liked it."

A few people came to talk to me afterwards which is always great, and like I've heard from so many women and girls, a story similar to Civil War has happened to them, or they have felt like Sam on more than one occasion.
